Sexual problems are serious but common
issues in the globe. These problems are caused my misinformation about sex, cultural values and attitude, pornography, busy lifestyles and stress, boredom,
sickness and psychological blocks such as insecurity in
marriage, sexual fear, guilt, conflict, sexual dysfunctions and miscellaneous causes among others.
Indeed, the marriage as instituted and designed by God required
sexual activities. God made us male and female with complementary features in
the right position for enjoyment. “Adam
knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain….” This statement means or implies sexual
relationship.
“Knew” confirmed sexual
activities in the Bible for procreation. Let me draw your attention to another
part that is necessary for this conference, “… And
rejoice with the wife of your youth, as a deer and a graceful doe, LET HER BREASTS satisfy you at all times.” Prov.5:15-19. This
suggest romantic scene in marriage.
“Let him kiss me with the
kisses of his mouth”
is another beautiful romantic statement by a woman.”
“KISS” could also mean
friendship, betrayal, greeting…. The Songs of Solomon is a blessing to marriage
sexual activities.
, we shall succinctly discussed the
prevalent sexual problems, factors contributing to these problems, therapies,
preventions for our children.....

SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION
This is any problem or persistent
difficult experience at any stage of sexual response or activity that inhibits
one from experiencing satisfaction or gratification during sexual activity.
Sexual dysfunction brings about an
impairment of sexual excitement, arousal and orgasm. It can affect both men and
women with involved disturbance on the physiological response cycle. Research
has shown that 40-50%
men in Nigeria are suffering
from sexual problems but mild in women.
Unfortunately, the young ones, youths
are suffering from sexual dysfunction today because of substance abuse – drug abuse, tramadol, codine, marijuana, alcohol
etc. This is a serious and call for our attention as parents....To be continued.
